Privacy Policy

How Gulf HR Services collects, uses, and protects personal information belonging to employers, candidates, and visitors to this website.

Who we are

Gulf HR Services is a licensed manpower recruitment agency supplying skilled and unskilled workers from Bangladesh to employers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Gulf HR Services.

We are responsible for the personal information described below. If you have a question about any of it, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Information we collect

We collect different information depending on how you deal with us.

If you contact us as an employer, we collect the name, job title, company, email address, phone number, and the contents of your enquiry.

If you are a candidate or a worker we are placing, we collect the information a placement requires. Depending on the role and the destination country, that can include:

  • Your name, date of birth, nationality, and contact details
  • Passport and identity document details
  • Photographs used in your profile and on your documents
  • Work history, skills, trade test results, and references
  • Education and trade certificates
  • Medical fitness certificate results issued by an approved centre
  • Police clearance where the role requires it
  • Bank details, where these are needed to pay you

If you simply browse this website, we collect only what is needed to serve the pages and keep them working, such as your language preference and basic technical information about your request.

If you subscribe to our email updates, we collect your email address, your chosen language, and the date you subscribed.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and quote for recruitment work
  • Screen, shortlist, and present candidates to employers
  • Complete documentation, medical, visa, and travel formalities for a placement
  • Support workers during their contract and handle any issue that arises
  • Meet our legal obligations, including the recruitment, labour, and immigration rules of the countries we recruit from and place into
  • Send email updates, where you have asked to receive them
  • Keep records of what we did and when, as recruitment law requires

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

A placement cannot be completed without sharing candidate information. We share it with:

  • The prospective employer, so they can review and select candidates
  • Government departments in Bangladesh and the destination country, including labour, emigration, and immigration authorities
  • Embassies and consulates handling visa applications
  • Approved medical centres carrying out fitness examinations
  • Attestation and document-processing services
  • Airlines and travel providers, for ticketing
  • Our professional advisers, where we need legal or accounting advice

We share only what each party actually needs. We do not pass candidate details to employers who have not made a genuine request for that role.

Sending information across borders

Because we recruit in one country and place workers in another, personal information necessarily crosses borders — between Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and the other GCC countries we work in. Data-protection law differs between them. Where we can, we require the recipient to use the information only for the placement it was provided for.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate and placement records for as long as the recruitment and labour rules that apply to us require, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of a later dispute or verification request. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer needed. Email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal information about you we hold
  • Give you a copy of it
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
  • Delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it
  • Stop sending you email updates

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

Every email update we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time without contacting us.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to function: one to keep your session secure, and one to remember your language choice. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, this policy will be updated first.

Keeping information secure

Access to candidate records is limited to staff who need it for their work. Documents and identity papers are stored securely, and access to our systems is protected by individual accounts. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise information can never be compromised — but we will tell you and the relevant authority if a breach affects you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top.
